About the painting ~
Tucked away in the Beaujolais Wine Region was a small village. A village of locals that fed the land, tilled the soil and collected grapes for many generations. It was here that I saw the fruit of their labor, quite literally, collected in aged barrels under ground. The land was well sought after and the trees held secrets - probably beautiful ones at that.
